Intelligence Analyst (Government)
ANSER is seeking five (5) intelligence analyst to provide support for the Joint Intelligence Operations Center – Korea (JIOC-K) contract. The JIOC-K provides timely intelligence to Commander, USFK and Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders. The JIOC-K focuses on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, exploiting ISR activities, and analyzing enemy actions and information to determine probable enemy courses of action.
SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qualified candidates will assist the United States Forces Korea J2 and the JIOC-K in improving the quality, timeliness, and availability of intelligence products; achieving USFK Priorities; and meeting Defense Intelligence Agency strategy and objectives. ANSER personnel will develop analytical process assessments, implement programs in support of the assessments and manage organizational processes to meet the J2 and JIOC-K goals. Successful candidates will possess appropriate skills to provide support for the following major task areas:
Key intelligence analytical products supported include:
Combined Intelligence Briefings: ROK and US Intelligence Briefings
U.S. J2 Update: U.S. only Intelligence Update
Commander's Update: Daily intelligence updates for the USFK Commander
Korea Intelligence Digest (KID)
Intelligence section of various Operational plans including Korea Family of Plans (KFOP)
Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE)
National Intelligence Support Plan (NISP)/Combined National Intelligence Support Pan (CNISP)
Threat Assessment Watch log; Input to the Commander's daily intelligence update
Continuously maintain SI/GENSER COP with all significant activity
Translated ROK SITREPs; Indicator Change and WATCHCON change messages
Targeting analysis and complete graphics packages
HUMINT analysis, threat assessments, cyber assessments, and inputs to various products
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Active Top Secret security clearance, ability to obtain SCI/SAP and possess/pass a CI poly
Note: All contractor personnel relocated to Korea at Government expense are required to stay at least two years on the contract
Korean Foreign Language skills and proficiency is highly desired for all positions; three of the All Source Intelligence Analyst positions require Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) test score 3/3 or equivalent in Korean and English
Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence
Exceptional written, and verbal communication skills
Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and Joint Staff
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to the position plus at least 2 years of relevant professional experience; or bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years' relevant professional experience.
