This position will be located in our Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office within our Planning Practice. As the state capital, the City of Harrisburg in consistently ranked as the top place to live in the state and 44 th in the nation, boasting a vibrant urban setting, low cost of living, strong job market, and high quality of life. It is also conveniently located within a few hours' drive or train connection of popular metropolitan areas including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and New York City.
PLANNING PRACTICE
We create, integrate, visualize and communicate planning concepts as they move from the initial vision through implementation. Our planning professionals build strong client partnerships, working with residents, businesses, developers, educational and medical organizations, state and local governments, the military and other federal agencies to successfully plan the future of their communities or institutions. DESCRIPTION
The Planning Associate I position is an entry-level role designed to support Michael Baker International's community and economic development projects. The ideal candidate will be driven, intellectually curious, committed to excellence, and demonstrate a desire to make a difference in the communities we serve. As a Planning Associate I, the successful candidate will support the project manager on community and economic development planning initiatives and will be responsible for the preparation of planning documents for state and local government clients, as well as private sector clients.
