Principal Magnetic-Bearing Rotordynamics Design Engineer (Finance)
* providing technical excellence and support in rotordynamics topics related to design, testing and operation of gas compressors supported on magnetic bearings
* supporting the design group on projects that have significant rotordynamics and electric-motor drive design content
* conducting magnetic bearing design, electrical design of rotor/stator components in a magnetic bearing using the latest analytical tools in the industry
* conduct rotordynamic analysis of mag-bearing rotors and generating appropriate transfer functions for the controller
* evaluate dynamic impact of electric motors on the torsional characteristics of the driven rotors
* evaluate rotordynamic design and performance of gas compressors supported by oil bearings
* conduct testing of gas compressor rotors and provide technical support to Design and Test Engineering
* performing lateral and torsional rotordynamic analysis
