AF LVC Cyber Planner - 18724 (Government)

HII - MDIS is currently seeking an LVC Cyber Exercise Planner to work at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
Assigned to the 24th AF, Lackland AFB, (San Antonio) TX, the Cyber Exercise Planner shall assist in the development and integration of proof of concepts for cyber effects into battle staff and cyber focused exercises. Provide continuity across the Enterprise for cyber event planning for training events like Cyber Flag, Cyber Guard, Red Flag, Virtual Flag, Austere Challenge, UFL, and other JNTC or Air Force approved events. Details to be developed: actual training requirement and approval, networking, scheduling resources, determining participants, documenting vignettes for cyber effects in kinetic environment, recommended tools/solutions, etc.
The Cyber Planner shall provide specialized technical and operational subject matter expertise to support the planning and execution activities for selected M&S exercises/events to include LVC exercises and events, computer-assisted demonstrations, experiments, tests, mission rehearsals, evaluations, evaluation activities, and the utilization of constructive simulation capabilities.
The Cyber Planner shall help develop an integrated strategy resulting in an M&S/LVC capability to support Cyberspace training at all echelons in keeping with the requirements inherent with existing Warfighting Function training and encompassing all aspects of Cyberspace operations and Cyber Protection Teams. Vignettes need to be developed that allow the easy integration of cyber, thru the use of LVC, into exercises that will directly affect the kinetic environment.

When engaged with a DoD related exercise/event, the Cyber Planner shall provide support to the Joint Exercise Life Cycle process as identified by the Government. During the Execution Phase, the Cyber Planner shall be required to monitor and report on the progress of the simulation(s) to ensure the simulated training exercises/events provide a realistic presentation for the intended audience. The Cyber Planner shall solicit, collect, and identify user requirements and report those issues/needs/requirements from the user to the AFAMS and 24th AF and track in order to make the necessary changes and facilitate integration into the model.
