Finance Intern (Summer 2020) (Finance)

Our Corporate Finance department is looking for a motivated Accounting major who has completed (at a minimum) their junior year and is interested in learning about corporate accounting and tax while working for a publicly held company who prides itself on upholding the values of Integrity, Respect, Safety and Excellence. Responsibilities
Learn the organization's policies, processes, products and/or services and perform duties and responsibilities based on the incumbent's functional work assignment. Acquire industry knowledge. Apply educational knowledge, skills and abilities to complete work assignments. Receives close supervision and usually works with regular checks on progress and verification of completeness and accuracy of work. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: The successful candidate may either be a recent Graduate, currently attending college in their Junior or Senior year, or pursuing their Masters or Advanced degree. Course of study is preferred in accounting, we will also consider other majors if the candidate has also taken intermediate accounting courses. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Excellent attention to detail. PC skills are essential - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Candidates must be able to reside in the Boise area in the summer of 2020.
