Temporary Contracts Administrator I (Finance)
Coordinate department contracts and vendors needed to facilitate the outsourcing of manufacturing activities.
Position Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reconcile and manage invoices pending department approvals; partner with AP to resolve PO/invoice issues; reconcile monthly blocked-invoice report.
• Reconcile and manage monthly accrual report from vendors.
• Lead monthly meetings with department clinical-supplies personnel to ensure timely approval of packaging, storage and shipment invoices, as well as lead meetings with AP to maintain POs and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
• Review payment requests to ensure accuracy before processing invoices for approval.
• Provide support to prepare quarterly accrual data for Finance.
• Provide support to development related contracts, task orders, work requests, purchase orders, change orders and negotiate terms with outside 3rd party vendors in support of development activities in clinical supplies.
• Route, track and facilitate the timely progress of contracts from point of receipt through execution and prepare status reports for contracts in circulation.
• Provide support during any financial audits at month or quarterly close, as needed.
• Ensure appropriate tools are in place to facilitate budget management at department level.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Education:
• BS/BA degree in related discipline and five years of related experience; or,
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May require certification in assigned area.
Experience:
• Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting complex contract manufacturing and clinical supplies related agreements in both a development and commercial setting.
• Experience in SAP and management of both clinical and commercial supply chain, required.
• Experience working in the bio-pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to maintain filing systems and track recurring department information.
• High attention to detail and contributes to efficiency and productivity of department.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
