Cleveland office of our client seeks consumer financial services compliance associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will be working with this practice group to provide regulatory compliance advice to depository institutions and non-depository lenders, finance companies, brokers, servicers, and debt collectors about compliance with federal and state consumer financial services laws that govern the financial services industry, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and equivalent state laws. Should have experience in consumer finance matters including experience with regulatory compliance issues at a state and federal level. Must be admitted in Ohio and their license must be active, in good standing and up to date with current CLE requirements.
