Lead the design and development of Lands' End products by interpreting ideas and concepts into finished product through collaboration with Merchandising and Product Development.

Lead seasonal line plans, follow product development calendar deadlines and be aware of responsibilities for key milestone meetings.

Build and retain a highly talented Design organization.
Challenge new ways of thinking by creating an environment that fosters idea generation, creativity and ownership of product.
Provide coaching, training, and feedback to design team. Responsible for onboarding of team members, ensuring team has been given the tools and on-the-job training needed to perform their job. Responsible for providing team members the experiences needed to continue to develop in their role.
Represent Design in Key initiatives (task force, projects etc.) as assigned.
Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions and report incidents.
Skills
10+ years of experience and a degree in Apparel or Fashion Design
Previous experience leading design teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills within teams and cross functional partners
Ability to communicate and translate Lands' End vision
Exceptional understanding of textile construction, color and printing techniques.
Understands the Lands' End brand and will deliver product that exceeds the customer's expectations; passion for customer service.
Strong ability to lead, develop and retain talent.
