Operations Specialist – Midstream Operations (Security)
Job Summary
This position is located in Anadarko's Rockies Region as a member of the Midstream Plant Operations team at the Latham Plant (currently under construction) or Wattenberg Plant (Aurora, CO).
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year business administration and/ or administrative support experienced preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project deadlines, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements.
Ability to handle confidential and proprietary company data and information.
Self-starter and motivated learner that is able to work both independently with minimum supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements.
Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Understanding of SAP required.
Experience working in oil and gas operations preferred.
Responsibilities
Monitor incoming personnel including contractors, third party, other companies within the fence line, and direct as needed. Administer process overviews, monitor incoming personnel to maintain current training.
Managing office supplies, maintaining inventory, ordering and stocking.
Incoming and outgoing mail and shipments. Prepare outgoing packages.
Answering telephones and directing calls as needed.
Maintain strong relationship with vendors and internal personnel to ensure efficiency and accuracy on payments.
Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit inquiries.
Plant weekly and monthly production report compilation and distribution as needed.
Collect truck Bill of Ladings, sort, file, and electronically forward, as needed.
Maintain simple databases, or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points.
SAP PM assistance to include work order tracking, establishing hierarchy, creating PM's, creating MR work orders and closing as needed.
Filing purchase orders, matching packing slips, and verifying receipt of goods.
Filing waste manifests, manage recorded quantities.
Track monthly vehicle inspections.
Emergency response plan updates, maintain attendance sheets, and log.
Review of work permits, JSA and hot work to ensure complete and file.
Provide administrative support to plant team and individuals as needed.
Follow all company procedures and established guidelines.
Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with Anadarko's Core Values.
Maintain compliance with proper regulatory reporting and guidelines as appropriate.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Relocation
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.
Work Schedule
This position is on a Monday through Friday 40 hour per week work schedule.
