Territory Reseller Manager - AWG (Finance)
Americas Wholesale (AW) Reseller Execution Team's (RET) Bose Territory Reseller Manager (TRM) has the complete responsibilities to control the leadership, management, and development of all reseller focused activities associated with Bose resellers within his or her territory. The TRM will work directly with Bose Territory-level key players and all resellers across the territory to control and drive territory-wide-reseller partnerships and activities. The TRM will manage and leveraging key player relationships within his or her assigned area; Will be responsible for the control and execution of reseller training within the territory as well select national activity; Will directly call on select key reseller storefronts within the territory to improve reseller advocacy and drive increased sales to exceed fiscal year long goals. The TRM will also strategically work with our 3PL partners in the areas of merchandising and sales and help manage all 3PL territory activity to ensure overall retail execution; Additionally, the TRM will maintain working partnerships and consistent communication with internal reseller account management, along with our Operations Teams, Regional and Senior Leadership level support.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory Sales Growth
• Control territory results and be held accountable for those results by the National Sell-Through Manager (NSTM) - (i.e. key sales metric measurement - YOY growth, attainment to quota, etc.; travel and entertainment reporting, 3PL reporting, etc.)
• Manage and utilize our sales metric platforms to analyze sales results and leverage data to drive strategic activity within the territory and region
• Develop and leverage multiple levels of key player partnerships across the territory designed to create business opportunities driving the execution of areas in territory training, excellence in customer engagement and overall strong brand advocacy resulting in exceeding sales our fiscal sales goals
• Lead specific and strategic focused initiatives within the assigned territory throughout the year and partner with peer TRMs on a national level during critical times of the year
• Partner with the REMs and Account Managers to determine territory reseller plans and activities
• Actively engage with 3PL partners across territory to control executions of 3PL merchandising and sales excellence across the assigned territory
Increase the Bose Brand Experience Across All Territory Resellers
• Manage and grow all aspects of the retail Bose brand experience throughout the territory
• Identify, build and leverage key reseller partnerships at a territory level to drive greater brand advocacy and sales across all assigned storefronts
• Create and manage business building strategies based on business needs with the goal to increase strong brand mindshare, advocacy and increased sales
• Leverage all tools designed to drive business results (i.e. Reporting tools, Bose sales reports, social platforms, etc.), along with Enterprise Business Partner interactions
• Execute territory and store level reseller key player meetings using strategic business planning and goal setting to ensure joint execution focused on brand building and targeted sales growth
Execute Strategic Reseller Training Initiatives
• Partner with reseller key players to develop and conduct territory, district and store-wide training and strategic initiatives utilizing relevant training platforms; focusing on key product categories, selling processes, and brand advocacy
• Lead territory, district and store key player meetings focusing on overall territory sales with additional emphasis on top storefront productivity
• Execute planned and strategic visits to top store-fronts consistently focusing category sales, RSP education, selling processes, and brand
• Deliver national reseller mass training activities as needed using Bose training standards
• Manage 3PL sales support within assigned territory to ensure that time in-store is building our brand, strengthening our in-store partnerships and driving excellence in customer engagement and sales
Control Bose 3PL Programs within Territory
• Strategically partner and communicate with our 3PL leadership teams to control optimal performance and execution from our display and sales expert teams in your territory.
• Co-Manage with 3PL Regional Leadership to oversee and mentor 3PL staff and activity across territory to ensure 3PL merchandising and sales excellence
• Partner with 3PL leadership to assist with performance management, hiring and on-boarding of 3PL display and sales experts in assigned territory. Assist with interviews and on-boarding for national program
Managing Bose Merchandising Excellence within Territory
• Increase Bose customer engagement at retail by ensuring our 3PL partners and reseller partners are properly utilizing our displays to drive heightened engagement and increased sales
• Control the execution of merchandising excellence through strategically partnering and communicating with key reseller key partners, 3PL leadership and territory 3PL teams
• Leverage reporting tools on display trends with proper communication back to our 3PL teams, along with our internal support teams and leadership
• Hold stores accountable for maintaining Bose merchandising and involve proper key players to help ensure merchandising excellence
Reseller and Consumer Experiential Marketing
• Pursue, develop and execute unique and strategic opportunities within the territory to further drive excitement around our brand that leads to increased reseller/customer advocacy and sales
• Participate in Bose and reseller sponsored events, including regional/national training and other brand building/Sales activities
Additional Responsibilities
• Complete and submit required reporting that captures all activity conducted and all outstanding Sales and merchandising issues at locations covered and support the needs of the overall business
• Actively participate in all Bose meetings, conference calls/individual calls, and training & development programs as requested by management. Consistently utilize email and other communication platforms to remained informed and connected to our business needs and internal/external partners. Provide feedback on Sales opportunities, products, displays, processes, promotions, and other opportunities for improvement
SKILLS
Key skills and requirements
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years college with an emphasis on
• Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of retail and/or related experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Required Competencies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Experience with accessing the internet and working with Microsoft® Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
• Ability to lead to higher performance and coach and mentor to personnel and team growth.
• Strong business planning capability knowing what drives sell-through and advocacy.
• Ability to build broad and deep reseller engagement across functions and operational levels - reseller relationships
• Ability to develop and execute against a P&L and ROI based working models - financial and data acumen.
