Overview
The Fed's Supervision Division is seeking an experienced Senior Information Technology (IT) Risk Specialist for its Safety and Soundness Unit. The Supervision Division is responsible for examining and inspecting state ‐ chartered Fed-member banks, bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, and financial holding companies. The IT portion of a safety and soundness examination is a risk-focused assessment, which focuses on the ability of the financial institution to identify and manage IT-related risks associated with ongoing operations. In particular, these reviews include network security, overall Information security, and cybersecurity.
The IT Risk Specialist will evaluate the overall nature and risk of the bank's operations, the adequacy of the bank's IT-related internal controls and audit function, and the bank's compliance with laws and regulations. Furthermore, the IT Risk Specialist will assist in Significant Service Provider examinations and participate on special fintech reviews when these firms provide services to a financial institution.
