Sr Advanced Application Engr (Finance)

As a Sr Advanced Application Engr here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our support processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability and experience to provide remote support to customers.
  • Ability to deliver remote support & services remotely and effectively.
  • Ability to execute GTAC and other standard audit checklists.
  • Facilitate issue identification and analysis. Report out to regional stakeholders, work closely with the global team.
  • Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues.
  • Maintain strong case documentation and follow up with A360 Performance Managers to ensure that technical recommendations effectively resolve customer issues.
  • Support A360 Performance Managers to enable remote solutions at customer sites making sure the PSC value is consistently demonstrated with each deliverable.
  • Keep technically current with the broad HPS product/systems portfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on the TPS-Experion-DCS product line.

You will report directly to our Sr. Application Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a Hybrid (must reside within the greater Houston, TX commuting area) work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 year or Associates degree in the fields of Computer Science, Systems Engineering or Software Architecture degrees
  • 8+ years of experience in the system engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry.

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (With Electronics and Computer Science applications), Computer Science, Systems Engineering or Software Architecture
  • 10+years' experience with Honeywell process control systems.
  • 8 years of experience with:
  • Experion PKS Controller family and related architecture.
  • Experion PKS Client/Server products.
  • C200/C300
  • TPS/TPN Systems
  • SCADA Integration
  • Experion Migrations
  • FTE
  • Working experience with TCP/IP networks (network/device configuration)
  • OPC
  • ELCN/EUCN/EHPM
  • Cisco Switches
  • Experience on Dell Hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • VMWare
  • Domain Controller/Active Directory
