Production Lead (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct and monitor training of new employees and ongoing development of current employees.Problem-solve employee issues; coach as necessary and effectively involve production management and/or HR as necessary.Guide/develop people to problem-solve production issues.Establish and promote a team approach within the department, other departments in the plant, and the company overall.Communicate effectively within the department, supporting departments, and with plant management.Ensure order specifications and special instructions are completed accurately and follow up as necessaryDrive a continuous improvement culture with emphasis on safety, with a foundation of the Beltservice Core Values.Learn & Support Lean and 5S effortsEffectively plan and prioritize production demand as well as track production progress.Train production team to standard work procedures and help the team sustain high quality processes.
Requirements
High School Diploma, or GED equivalent, required.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Legally eligible for employment in this country.Prior leadership, process management, or people management experience, preferred.General computer experience (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new programs.Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Problem solver, creative thinker, self-motivated.Functions well with minimal supervision.Strong desire to learn and develop your skills.
Benefits:
Weekly pay.Starting wage from $24.00-$29.00/hour.Uniform program.Full-time benefit package includes: paid time off, 401(k) plan with company match, profit-sharing, health, dental, vision, long/short term disability.
