American College of Radiology
Education Specialist (Project Management)
ACR is a progressive membership organization representing nearly 40,000 medical specialists in radiological care. As a member of our team, you will join a world leader in patient-centered care advocacy, policy and clinical research, quality and safety. Our culture encourages innovation, diversity, integrity and leadership. A nonprofit 501(c)(3), ACR (the American College of Radiology) has over 500 purpose-driven employees in the Greater Washington, DC and Philadelphia region.
With the transition of the CMS-funded R-SCAN to a PI-CME quality improvement project under the CDS registry, there is a goal to create and manage similar quality improvement educational activities under each of our registries, starting with LCS. As a collaboration between the Q&S Commission and CoPLL, this exemplifies leadership's direction to align all CoPLL education with the Strategic Plan. The Education Specialist will be responsible for working with instructional designers and others within ACR to develop and launch these new activities designed to close the gap on value-based care delivery, measurement, and payment. Primary duties will include support of the CoPLL and new program development based on the CoPLL Roadmap, using ACR Registries' data and other ACR sources to produce PI-CME. The Education Specialist will be responsible for working with instructional designers and others within ACR to develop and launch new quality improvement lifelong learning activities.
Successful candidates will have the ability to assess complex data, including Registries, and determine the learning audience's needs; as well as a passion to deliver effective programming to meet member needs in improving quality patient care. Background as a career professional in education. Independent decision-maker, but loves working with a good team.
