Position Information

Position Overview

This hybrid employee role will function as a liaison between content operations, product management, and commerce.

The primary function of the role will be as a content integration specialist. In this role, they will use a consultative approach in advising product managers and partners on configuration, release, maintenance, and retirement of content products. They are responsible for evaluating potential new partners; adding, maintaining, and retiring content in the HealthStream Learning Management System; and providing escalated support.

The consultative approach expands to advising product managers, commerce, and the broader business on the impact of productizing content and the downstream effects on maintenance, metering, implementation, etc. They will help develop scalable procedures for data management across systems such as HLC, CPM, Shopify, Salesforce, etc.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

  • Consult with Product Managers to recommend the best practices for adding, maintaining, removing, and productizing content.
  • Lead projects to evaluate and integrate new content from third party partners and developers, following Content Operations established best practices.
  • Manage assigned product maintenance on a regular or ad hoc basis.
  • Manage technical relationships with strategic third-party content partners or developers, consulting with them on best practices to achieve an optimal outcome for customers.
  • Create and implement processes to manage and audit data across systems, such as HLC, CPM, Shopify, and Salesforce, in order to successfully maintain product data interoperability.
  • Create and maintain relevant process documentation for use by Content Operations, Commerce, Metering, and Product Management, developing new processes as needs evolve.
  • Understand the needs of Commerce and Metering in order to be able to represent them to Product Managers and Product Teams.
  • Fosters cross functional collaboration and continuous improvement for all stakeholders of content, including but not limited to Product, Metering, and Commerce.
  • Understand complex business and systems limitations with regard to product configuration decisions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding Content Operations for the Commerce, Metering, and Product Teams.
  • Qualifications

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 4 years of experience with HealthStream's Learning Management System (HLC).
    • A minimum of 3 years of Content Operations experience directly managing strategic, complex, or large partner libraries.
    • Experience and confidence using all advanced publishing methodologies in HealthStream's Learning Management System (HLC).
    • Experience integrating product data between HealthStream's Learning Management System, Salesforce, CPM, retail sites, and others as needed.
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, Beyond Compare, and EFT.
    • Understanding of project management methodologies and/or process standardization.
    • Understanding of SCORM and AICC learning standards.
    • Troubleshooting knowledge of HealthStream LMS preferred.
