Operations Manager (Finance)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems, processes, and best practices that contribute to improved information flow and business operations.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations across departments such as production, logistics, customer service, and quality control.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets and promote a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals and objectives aligned with company strategy.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery.
  • Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Develop key accounts in the region to help streamline business opportunities.

Requirements:
  • B achelor's degree in Business Administration a plus, Operations Management, or related field experience of at least 10-15 years.
  • Possess 5-10 years of experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably within Oil & Gas.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures, quality management, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with relevant software and tools (e.g., PM platforms, MS Office Suite).

  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects and customers.
  • Effectively communicate with customer representatives in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure client expectations.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work.
