Middle School Inititative Attendant - Monument (Finance)
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience with children/teens leading recreational activities
Minimum of three months of part time and verifiable experience with children and/or family programming
Applicants must be upbeat, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
Implement a weekly program that includes the theme, all core programs and special events.
Supervise and effectively engage with participants during all large and small group activities.
Provide discipline for a participant that is age appropriate and maintains respect for the child.
Possess a working knowledge of safety and emergency procedures and be able to exercise sound judgment
Responsible for assisting with the involvement of parents and families; ensure consistent communication with parents of participants regarding progress
Demonstrate proper care and storage of equipment and supplies.
Communicate effectively with all other staff, parents, and participants.
Primary Responder for all accidents and incidents.
Supervise locker rooms and swim with children.
Complete routine and required forms to include, but not limited to: attendance records, observation records, and incident and injury reports.
Prepare snack or meals as assigned.
May be required to work hours outside of normal work schedule for training's, extended program hours, parent nights, or association events.
