Data and Program Evaluator-Population Health (Personal Services)



Work Schedule: 

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position.  Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position.

We are seeking a Data and Program Evaluator to:

  • Lead the data collection and evaluation efforts of the Office of Population Health including but not limited to the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute Initiative.
  • Engage stakeholders from across UW Health to facilitate comprehensive program evaluation activities.

Education:

Minimum –Bachelor's Degree in Population Health, Public Health, Informatics, Data Science, Sociology, Social Work, Human Ecology, or related field.

Four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree in addition to the experience listed below.

Work Experience:

Minimum –

  • Evaluation development
  • Prior experience in writing SAS, SQL, or similar languages
  • Statistical or descriptive analyses using R or Python

Preferred –

  • Epic Clarity in an SQL environment., Epic Chronicles, or Epic registry development
  • Performance measure development
  • Organization, analysis, and modeling of multiple unstructured data sources
  • Cost accounting and hospital operations analysis
  • Healthcare or business administration/development and strategic planning
  • Prior experience in an academic healthcare environment

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred – Epic certification(s) in any subject area
