Health Technician (Healthcare)
Job Description:
The Health Technician's primary job function is to provide temperature screening for personnel at client sites and projects while following CDC guidelines for personal protective equipment and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete CDC questionnaires based on CDC guidelines.
· Complete questionnaires GO Canvas and with live reporting.
· Provide reports to clients as needed or requested.
Skills & Abilities:
· Possesses critical reasoning skills and is capable of applying them effectively in stressful situations.
· Displays confidence and accepts the challenge and high degree of responsibility required in this position.
· Demonstrate effective communication (verbal, written & listening) and interpersonal skills.
Experience, Qualifications, Certificates, and Licenses:
Preferred:
· OSHA Blood Bourne Pathogens training
· Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training
· First Aid / CPR training
· Basic Plus Certification
· TWIC Card (Preferred)
· Plant/industrial experience
Required:
· Valid driver license from state of residence
· Must possess good driving record and be insurable
· High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands:
· Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
· Occasionally required to sit.
· Regularly required to use arms, hands, and fingers.
· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
