The Account Executive, Community (Community AE) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of our influencer opportunities related to campaigns and acts as the primary point of contact with influencers to ensure smooth project delivery of campaign objectives. In conjunction with Client Services, Influencer Casting and other internal teams, the Community AE fully manages day-to-day activities which can include opportunity posting and instruction creation/management, influencer communications, internal platform management, and content verification and monitoring.
Duties And Responsibilities
Opportunity management: Verify opportunity posting and timeline. Creation of opportunity instructions to provide clear client expectations and guardrails to selected influencers.
Influencer communication: facilitate timely responses and solutions regarding influencer instructions, product purchases, shipping, draft edits, photography, and general issues and concerns.
Content management: approval of drafts, final postings and social syndications and requesting edits as needed.
Campaign Feedback: Provide feedback regarding influencer participation in campaign. Support sales in strategic planning based on previous programs.
Internal communication: facilitate timely responses and solutions internally regarding influencer participation in campaigns.
Community relations: maintain positive relations with community members through professional communication, planning and execution of community outreach programs and events, support and syndication of influencer content using company social media channels.
Market trends: monitor trends in social media tools, trends, and applications and provide suggestions for how these trends can be used in our programs.
Personal/Professional development: maintain working knowledge of current social platforms and applications. Seek out opportunities in Workday to further develop skills and knowledge.
Job Qualifications
Experience:
1-2 years of work experience, preferably at a consumer marketing agency such as a social media marketing agency, public relations (PR), advertising, digital promotions, or an interactive agency and/or directly for a consumer facing Fortune 500 brand (preferred).
1 year of blogging or influencer experience preferred
Education:
Associate Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience..
Other:
Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
Great attitude and ability to be flexible and entrepreneurial
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
Good technical understanding and ability to learn new tools quickly
Comfortable working in a startup environment where you are responsible for identifying and implementing processes, systems and best practices
