Senior Scheduler (Finance)
The Senior Scheduler coordinates and integrates all planning and scheduling activities for medium to large size, complex projects/programs within an assigned Region or Division and prepares and issues master schedules, problem analysis reports and variance reports.
The Senior Scheduler should fully understand major business components and implications specific to scheduling for Construction Companies and will ensures compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology while upholding H&M safety and quality management protocols.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Scheduler is fully responsible for the preparation of accurate resource and cost loaded project/program schedules, coordinating associated deliverables, and updating elements of the Scope of Work throughout the project life cycle, including recovery plans and what-if schedules as required.
This role leads the development and implementation scheduling guidelines and should be skilled in developing schedule update procedures to differentiate between H&M and Customer schedule impacts. Additionally, they will guide Project Managers in formulating plans to correct schedule for service deliveries.
The Senior Scheduler ensures compliance with external customer contract terms as well as H&M Project Management Methodology (PMM) and internal scheduling and control standards. Implements process improvement initiatives.
Senior Scheduler responsibilities also include interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders on planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress reporting and complaint schedules while communicating effectively with operations and customers to ensure timely completion of schedules and projects.
This role may also be responsible for managing additional resources assigned to an initiative/project, dependent on scope, including training, mentoring, and assignment of work.
Required Skills:
BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
