Human Resources Generalist (Sales)
Initiate correspondence with Human Resource Manager and Hiring Manager to identify needs for open positions for general manufacturing positions (evaluating job descriptions, opening requisitions).
Tracking open positions progress from start to finish
Follow-up with Hiring Manager consistently to ensure timely and appropriate hiring for open positions for designated Plant/Facility.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations
Update and maintain data integrity for the HRIS, Kronos and benefits system
Support employees and/or applicants with any questions and needs regarding company policies, benefits, compensation, eligibilities, salaries/wages and other pertinent information that arises.
Coordinate hiring process to include application entry, background checks, and drug screens
Coordinate new employee recruitment progress from hiring, onboarding and orientation
Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities
Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs, unemployment claims and worker's compensation plans
Maintain and coordinate premium statements for benefit packages
Administer and coordinate Family Medical Leave Plans (FMLA) with corporate HR Generalist
Correspond with Benefit Administrators to ensure eligibility
Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.
