Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks mid-level associate attorney with 2-5 years of prior prosecution and intellectual property litigation (PTO and court) experience. The candidate will serve in all phases of global patent practice, including preparation, prosecution, licensing, client counseling and litigation. Should have a doctorate in science or engineering. Advanced degree (master or doctorate) and/or industry experience in electrical engineering, computer science, optics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or robotics is preferred. Experience with America Invents Act is preferred. Must be actively licensed as an attorney in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction. Must be eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar, or be willing and eligible to sit for the D.C. Bar exam.
