Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities for the hotel to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas.
Assist with training, motivating, coaching, counseling, & discipline staff members.
Assist with the preparation of the weekly schedule.
Maintain supply and linen inventories.
Update room statuses on the computer.
Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, & friendly manner
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance, and set-up standards as well as to verify status.
Personally inspect a minimum of 50 guest rooms per day to ensure cleanliness in the following areas: Bed-making, vacuuming, dusting, stocking/supplies, mirrors/windows, telephones, furniture, closet, and other
Personally inspect corresponding guest bathrooms to ensure cleanliness in the following areas:
Floor, vanity, bathtub/shower curtain, stocking/supplies, toilet, towels, other
Personally inspect the cleaning of public areas, including public restrooms, lobby areas, dining rooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, and offices.
Also include other apartment and residential units of the company
Participate in large cleaning projects as required
Inspecting guest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, and hallways for cleanliness and order. Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
Coordinating cleaning and maintenance schedules according to guest needs, working with the front desk and maintenance personnel.
Coordinate activities with other resort departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to all applicable North Beach Village Resort Standard Operating Procedures.
Other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Manager or Operations and Managing Director.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English and Spanish language
