The Associate Marketing Manager of Outdoor is responsible for building a relationship with our Outdoor Strategic retailers and business partners. As the main point of contact for Outdoor within the HOKA marketing team, this individual will lead the creation of a marketing strategy and calendar for the Outdoor initiative.
The Associate Marketing Manager of Outdoor must possess a unique blend of relationship management, project management, business management, Data analysis & reporting skills, strong team spirit and brand/ industry passion. This individual needs to understand the consumer and the broader opportunity of how Outdoor category is a valuable opportunity in reaching new consumers in ways that builds long term brand health and loyalty.
Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, sales reps, and staff. Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and grow the relationship with the marketing team and buyer at each strategic account
Be the primary touchpoint between HOKA marketing and the strategic accounts marketing team
Develop and lead a strategy for each strategic account that supports HOKAs goals and the individual goals of each account.
Working closely with the Key Account Managers and the marketing team at each account, develop and lead the tactical marketing programs that support each strategic account.
Create and maintain trade calendar of activities by account for the Outdoor channel
Work with the HOKA marketing and consumer insights team to identify insights that are relevant to Outdoor category and consumer, and share these meaningful insights that allow us to improve our marketing plans
Analyze performance of marketing initiatives at each account and make recommendations on optimizations and improvements to current and future marketing plans
Working closely with the HOKA Marketing Director, develop and lead presentations for key meetings with strategic accounts that align the account with HOKA brand strategy, shares learnings of prior plans, and sets the tone for partnership recommendations
Working closely with the HOKA Marketing Director and HOKA Strategic sales team, identify and plan long term opportunities with accounts
Attend relevant trade shows and retailer meetings in Goleta and around the country
