The Stephenson Cancer Center is now hiring for a Program Administrator! The Program Administrator will be responsible for the oversight and evaluation of the new Mobile Screening Program through the SCC Community Outreach & Engagement Core.

Duties:

  • Directs program administration, implementation, tracking and budget development. 
  • Provides oversight of mobile screening teams, work to define clear patient flow for mobile cancer screening.
  • Develops an overarching vision and strategy for programs.
  • Establishes relationships with new community partners to coordinate and align program initiatives.
  • Establishes operational and strategic unit goals. 
  • Develops, implements and interprets policies and practices of the program
  • Explores and creates new program opportunities.  
  • Oversight of the PRAP with Dr. Kathleen Dwyer in the SPORE with regard to enrollment of patients the SPORE clinical trials and Career Enhancement Program.
  • Develops guidelines for the mobile screening program, defines best practices for data collection, and provides training protocol on screening guidelines and protocols, and the provision of smoking cessation services.
  • Coordinates with internal and external constituents and campus staff to foster program growth.
  • Work with safety net providers like FQHCs, Indian Health Service, Tribal delivery systems, rural clinics, hospitals, etc. to help pay for uninsured/underinsured patients.
  • Work with SCC social workers and financial navigators to identify resources such as; The SCC Emergency fund that can assist uninsured/underinsured lung cancer patients who need diagnostic follow up.
  • Serves on various committees and represents the program to the public and client groups.
  • Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the function of the position. 

Required Education: Master's Degree. AND:

  • 24 months of related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 42 months experience in lieu of Master's Degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.
