Quality Control Analyst (Biotech)

The Quality Control Analyst acts as a team member of the Quality Control department to support production of in-process and final product drug lots for customers. This roles participates in quality testing for ongoing customer stability studies and provides on-time, high quality results to meet manufacturing demands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Running test samples for in-process, lot release and stability studies, including bioburden, endotoxin and Total Organic Carbon testing
  • Reviewing Assays
  • Writing quality records including Deviations, Correction And Preventative Actions, Change Control and Test Methods
  • Training Others

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associates Degree. Preferred area of study in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Related Science field
  • Intermediate years industry experience, preferably in a Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment
  • Use of Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Use of Laboratory computer systems
  • Potential previous use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Quality Systems such as: TrackWise, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Strong ability to speak publicly.
  • Strong ability to interpret data.
  • Perform assigned, complex and/or varied tasks with guidance from Supervisor.
  • Prioritization and problem solving.
  • Comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Direct, control and plan tasks/projects.
  • Brainstorming
  • Able to communicate in both written and verbal format.
