Manager, Human Resources (Finance)

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the United Electronic Industries (UEI) business unit. The Human Resources Manager will play an active role in supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee development, compensation, and retention, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role involves managing HR policies and procedures, addressing employee concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources and has one direct report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements HR strategies and policies in alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in order to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Provides performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Oversee employee performance management and development programs, including performance evaluations and career planning.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation to all levels of employee groups.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Works with leaders to identify training and development needs to promote optimal employee learning and career development, and to ensure the achievement of business goals.
  • Drive workforce planning with managers to stay abreast of the needs of the business.
  • Manage recruiting and selection activities to attract, motivate and retain qualified individuals capable of performing and excelling business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships in building successful solutions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7+ years related HR experience including progressive generalist career track in human resources.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a Human Resource related field.
  • Solid knowledge of HRIS computer software programs and systems (ADP Systems) as well as Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and support full employment cycle including recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, and departure.
  • Expert knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, benefits, HRIS, ATS, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Experience developing and presenting human resources data for management decision-making.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in both the business sector(s) and human resources.
  • Must have excellent written/verbal skills.
  • Proven organizational consulting skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • PHR or SHRM CP preferred.
  • Adaptability, customer and stakeholder focus orientation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with worker's compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
  • Core competencies include strong analytical and reporting skills, change agent, dealing with conflict management, leading people through change, sense of urgency, decisiveness, integrity, excellent and proven communications skills, ability to make appropriate decisions and to work effectively at all levels of the plants and organization.
  • Strong commitment to providing customer service in a timely manner in a fast-paced enjoinment with changing priorities.

Compensation

Salary Minimum: $110,000

Salary Maximum: $140,000
