Branch Operations Manager (Construction)
Seneca Companies is a leader in the petroleum industry, specializing in the installation and maintenance of underground and above ground fuel systems. We are seeking an experienced manager for our Branch Operations Manager opening for our Denver, CO branch. This position leads all service and construction operations for the branch, as well as managing administrative functions such as warehouse/inventory, sales and billing. Due to the specialized nature of our business, this position will train with the current Branch Manager for up to 1 year before taking over all branch operations.
Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, directs and controls administrative, purchasing, inventory, sales, service and construction operations and activities, including responsibility for overseeing billing, purchasing, inside/outside sales, customer service, and tank installation, service, repair, testing and removal.
Selects, orients, directs, motivates, trains and retains staff capable of meeting current and projected human resources needs; makes recommendations and/or decisions on various personnel matters such as salaries, performance reviews and terminations.
Plans, schedules and monitors Branch activities, prioritizing and assigning work, establishing deadlines and inspecting work performed; provides administrative and technical direction to staff.
Plans, prepares and monitors operating budget; analyzes billings, job cost records, and other pertinent financial records and reports.
Authorizes budgeted project expenditures and the purchase of non-capital items; recommends on the purchase of capital and office equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Business or related field.
5-7 years management experience in a construction related field preferred (strong preference for experience with gas stations or UST/AST installation)
Experience managing a team, including remote field employee
Strong P&L skills
Strong interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills
Sales experience a plus
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Must have strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
