Senior Buyer Planner (Finance)
The Supply Chain Organization strategically sources quality materials and services at lowest total cost using a supplier management program that leverages best-in-class people, systems and processes. The Senior Buyer Planner supports the supply chain forecast-to-procurement cycle for either a specified area of spend or business unit for which spend may exceed $30 million annually and targets for inventory turns and obsolescence have significant impact on business results. The incumbent will be a significant contributor in the aforementioned functional area and could at times collaborate with American Tower's corporate and international operations.
The Senior Buyer Planner receives input related to relevant build plans, including materials requirements, project schedules, and projected deployment run rates. The Senior Buyer Planner works with approved distributors and direct suppliers to collect and manage information regarding product lead times as well as current or expected inventory levels. The Senior Buyer Planner must understand American Tower's contractual obligations with material distributors and suppliers and leverage those obligations to ensure those parties meet American Tower's requirements while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing inventory risk and liability. The Senior Buyer Planner develops and presents forecast and execution plans in order to secure authorization for commitments of inventory liability with distributors and/or suppliers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel is not expected to be required in support of the position's responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
