Assistant Vice President - Business Cycle Analysis and Communications (Finance)
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Economic Research group conducts the Bank's research in monetary policy, macroeconomics, microeconomics, banking and financial markets, and regional economics. The group is part of the Research, Policy, and Public Engagement department. We are hiring for an Assistant Vice President of Business Cycle Analysis and Communications. This individual will work directly with the President of the Bank and senior research staff in their roles with the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and other aspects of policymaking.
Job Summary
In this position you will lead a team comprising a business economist and a research assistant that supports the Bank president and senior research staff in their internal and external communications on a range of economic developments and policy topics. You will manage the workflow and make direct contributions for staff briefings to the Bank's board of directors and for speeches and other public presentations made by the Bank president and senior research staff.
