Lead Full Stack Developer (Media)
We are looking for a talented and passionate Lead Full Stack Developer who wants to make an impact in the medical space. With over 35 yearof experience in the orthopedic industry, Arthrex is dedicated to providing safe and reproducible solutions for health care professionals. We are seeking an experienced developer who will help us build and enhance tools and applications that are used by thousands of users worldwide for the latest education in sports medicine and minimally invasive orthopedic surgery. The Lead Developer on our team will lead the architecture and development of these new and innovative applications and features. We use technologies such as Angular, Golang, Ruby, React, Docker, and AWS, but are always evaluating new technologies and patterns that can have a positive impact on our products.

Main Objective: Leads development, support and maintenance of high-end and innovative software applications that support Arthrex's mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better. Contributes to projects by writing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code, and helping guide other developers in a cross-functional team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
7+ years of hands-on experience developing web/mobile applications that are used in a production environment.
Experience writing robust, pragmatic code following design patterns/anti-patterns.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Experience working with code editors and team collaboration software. Individual must feel comfortable using the command line. Experience with Mac OS X is a plus.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
