Power Equipment Direct is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Accountant I. Job Description
The Accountant I position is a blended services role that performs various functions of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks. The person in this role will be assisting with more of the complex accounting functions within the department and will need to use analysis to problem solve. This individual would be doing work in two different company files and will help reconcile intercompany transactions. A typical day would consist of chargeback resolution, managing sales tax issues, enter/matching of vendor invoices, customer balance and settlement application, running reconciliation reports, identify EDI/intercompany discrepancies, and helping with check runs as well as month end preparation/close. This role reports to Samantha Larsen, Accountant II.
