Payments Specialist (Finance)
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a motivated self-starter to apply broad knowledge of the payments industry to our exciting and dynamic work. The candidate will build and apply knowledge to explore and assess new and emerging risks and trends within the U.S. payments systems. Knowledge and experience working within payments functions of financial institutions may be beneficial, as the work may include understanding connections between the operational and policy aspects of banking and payments. The candidate for this position should demonstrate curiosity and a desire to learn; willingness to research, analyze, and report; and ability to identify and determine potential implications of new and emerging risk areas. The candidate will provide expertise and support for core Federal Reserve business activities related to payments. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, serving as a subject matter expert on Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) matters; researching and advising on payments matters; and providing support, participation, or leadership at the department, Division, District, and System level.
