Business Office Associate - Association Offices (Project Management)
The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is looking for a Business Office Associate who enthusiastically represents the YMCA by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job through the four character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Business Office Associate will create a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while working in our Shared Services department. The Business Office Associate will be responsible for YMCA program entry, membership billing, reconciling daily cash transactions, staff training on the system and other duties as assigned. This person must be mature, outgoing and prepared to deliver the highest quality customer service.
SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate for this position must have a flexible schedule as the hours of operation for the Business Office are as followed:
Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High School diploma
Minimum 6 months customer service experience
Advanced skills with excel preferred
Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a wide variety of situations via telephone, e-mail and face to face
Ability to set work priorities and handle multiple tasks while ensuring processing and policy deadlines are met
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
Complete daily, weekly and monthly goals as indicated by supervisor in regards to assigned tasks
Effectively track communication with members and staff regarding accounts
Maintain accurate YMCA membership records in computer
Communicates with center staff and members
