SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: ISR Current Operations SME
ANSER is pursuing several opportunities within USD(I) Warfighter Support to enhance Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations and capabilities. We are looking for energetic new team members with ISR experience, including activities related to Global Force Management, collection management, daily operations, warfighter and Interagency coordination, and tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED). The ideal candidate will understand ISR and technical collection capabilities, warfighter and Intelligence Community requirements, and the collection management process. This is a unique opportunity to shape priorities, resources, and acquisition of emerging capabilities to enhance U.S. national security.
The USD(I) ISR Operations Directorate provides global ISR solutions in support of warfighter needs and requirements by assisting senior leader decisions regarding ISR employments, operations, and investments. Key tasks include facilitating the timely fielding of validated and effective ISR capabilities, studying and assessing ISR capabilities and operations, promoting ISR development with partner nations, providing oversight of ISR policy, and advising senior leaders on global ISR operations. USD(I) requires subject matter experts in ISR capabilities, operations, and deployment to guide planning, acquisition, funding execution, installation of special equipment, and rapid integration and deployment of ISR assets. Common tasks include 1) analyzing ISR policy and providing recommendations through briefings, talking points, or white papers and 2) interfacing between the Directorate and the Combatant Commands and other stakeholders to identify and understand the ISR operating environment and current capabilities, needs, and gaps; Responding to time-sensitive taskings.
There is a potential for travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, including active war zones and other operating locations.
