JOB SUMMARY
Relay Resources is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for leading and delivering high-impact projects across shared services functions such as HR, Finance, Operations, Diversity and Inclusion and Facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership capabilities, experience working in matrixed organizations, and a track record of delivering business-critical initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management 70%
Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions for project planning, requirements gathering, and process improvement efforts.
Develop full-scale project plans using tools such as Asana.
Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate decision-making, and coordinate project activities.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes using established governance protocols.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Ensure alignment with EPMO standards, templates, and project methodologies.
Conduct post-project reviews and support knowledge transfer.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement 10 %
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, shared services leaders, and the EPMO.
Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project phases.
Support organizational change management efforts where applicable.
Training and development 10 %
Promote the use of project management standards and tools across Relay teams.
Lead or support training sessions on project management methodology (e.g., Asana onboarding, workplan building).
Contribute to EPMO resources and templates to improve project delivery consistency.
Documentation and Reporting 10%
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation.
Monitor performance and generate progress reports for project sponsors and leadership.
Support portfolio-level tracking and reporting efforts.
Skills and Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, operations, public administration, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of proven work experience as a Project Manager or a similar role; self-motivated, with a high sense of accountability, urgency, and drive.
Skills:
Highly motivated and self-driven professional: skillful, productive, efficient, creative.
Team-builder with strong communications skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience driving results leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience leading complex projects in a matrixed environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate a rapid rate of change.
Highly organized and process oriented. Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills required.
Hands- on experience with Project Management Platforms. Experience with Asana preferred.
Expertise with Microsoft 365 of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Loom, Forms and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, including operations, program leaders, and administrative functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred certifications: Project Management Certification PMP, CAPM, Change Management Certification PROSCI.

Solid verbal and written communications, organization, training and presentation skills.
The capability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.
Ownership to see tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to drive the tasks needed to accomplish their work and to know when to seek out support and ask questions.

SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Performs duties with moderate supervision and growing autonomy. Prepares work that is reviewed by senior staff for accuracy and clarity.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None, but may mentor junior cross-functional staff members on projects as needed.
