Rental Service Clerk (Administrative)

The Rental Fleet Service Clerk position performs general clerical functions in support of the rental fleet. The Rental Fleet Service Clerk will perform some or all of the functions listed below.

Pay rate:  $19.59 - $27.31 per hour
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience. 

Essential Functions:

  • Tracking, reporting, and scheduling PM services for rental fleet performance goals.
  • Product Link machine code reporting and scheduling.
  • New fleet warranty and telematics registration.
  • Administrative tasks related to decommissioning of rental fleet.
  • Ordering, stocking, creating, and coordinating the install of fleet specific branding decals on new machines.
  • Opens, tracks, and inputs data into work orders.
  • Maintain records, logs, and files.
  • Creates and reviews reports as required.
  • Creates and processes purchase orders as required.
  • Prepares and enters orders, receiving and, invoicing as required.
  • Opens, tracks, and inputs data to work orders.
  • Reviews work in progress reports to assure jobs are open no longer than needed.
  • Provides general clerical and staff support for Wagner Rents Management as required.
  • Provides back-up for various inventory control procedures.
  • Provides back-up support for other service department functions.
  • Receives calls from internal and external customer, obtaining all pertinent information needed to assist.
  • Interfaces with and assists other employees to assure jobs are performed timely and effective.
  • Interacts with vendors to ensure accurate and timely information is communicated and documented.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Safety & Product Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of DBS
  • Basic knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW

Travel Requirements:

  • 1-25%

Work Environment:

  • Quiet
  • Indoors
