Workforce Planning and Sourcing Specialist (Human Resources)

In collaboration with the Human Resources leaders, develops strategy, plans, and supports system-wide workforce development initiatives to ensure that business needs are effectively met with the current and future workforce. Proactively works with recruiters and management using available data and utilization of workforce planning tools to identify workforce needs/trends and talent gaps; builds and leads the execution of the strategy to address these needs. Works to support an effective process of recruitment and selection that is driven by the needs of the business, to ensure that appropriate individuals are attracted and appointed to vacant positions. Develops sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions. Serves as the HR liaison to coordinate contingency planning efforts. Regularly engages with other agencies as appropriate in order to ensure Essentia Health meets national standards in recruitment and regulatory requirements, and engages in best practices. Supports compliance with Affirmative Action goals. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and others.

Education and/or years experience required: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent degree • Two years of professional level HR experience. • Recruitment experience preferred.
