Information Management - Engineering Technician III (Finance)
Qualis Corporation is seeking an IT/Cyber Security Technician to support the Guided Weapons Evaluation Facility (GWEF) performing Engineering Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) functions for the 782 Test Squadron (782 TS). This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL.
Essential Functions
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of classified Information Systems (IS) and data using Air Force Approved network engineering, information security standards and approved industry best practices.
Development, Implementation and Updating of Information Management Plans.
Development, Coordination and Implementation of short and long term strategies for reliable and secure operation, evolution, and growth of the automation hardware and software infrastructure.
Familiarity/proficiency with processes and functions, information technology hardware and software products, as well as, computer peripherals (e.g. printers, monitors, hard drives, docking stations, scanners, etc.); customer service support skills; customer training to include demonstrations of hardware/software; documentation development, updates, customer handbooks, and other training aids; database development, design, implementation, and maintenance; network operations and administration; application development, design and implementation; document scanning and retrieval; and telecommunications implementation and training.
Knowledge and expertise in Cybersecurity requirements, network technologies, and computer security as applied to Department of Defense (DoD) networks.
Assist in initial and recurring Certification and Accreditation of systems or networks to ensure the appropriate protection levels.
Assist the government in producing, maintaining and revising Cybersecurity Operating Procedures, System Security Plans and maintaining Approval to Operate documentation in eMass.
Provide IT policy guidance for application development, planning, network implementation, systems integration, communication support, computer-communication maintenance, asset management, VTC and meeting support and security controls.
Provide IT guidance for collecting, controlling, disseminating, documenting, and resolving user questions and problems.
Provide IT guidance for test area real-time computers, support computers and network systems.
Perform upgrades, security patches, back-ups, account maintenance, and access control maintenance.
Perform Security Scans to ensure systems are compliant to STIG and patch level.
Perform generation and collection of audit logs for IS.
Perform system changes in accordance with the Configuration Management Processes for the 782 TS.
Employ approved new technologies.
Education and Experience Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field with 3-10 years experience. Substitution of experience for education will be considered with Government approval.
Must be compliant with DoD 8570.01-M with Security+ certification.
Basic understanding of Linux Operating Systems (OS) environments.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system problems required.
Must have an understanding of the specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.
Must have the ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.
Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 96TW as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.
Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
Must be willing to travel up to 10%.

Security Clearance:
Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance with last investigation within 5 years. Must be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
