Junior Graphic Designer (Project Management)
A great opportunity for a talented, ambitious creative to learn and grow your retail marketing skills alongside experienced designers at Scrubs & Beyond. The Jr. Graphic Designer manages the brand standards, assist in the creation and production of promotional and informational design for print or digital use while maintaining the integrity of the S&B brand. This position reports to the Graphic Design Manager and works closely with the full marketing, sales and product buyer teams.
Essential Job Duties
Develop layout of in-house design and production of multiple marketing pieces of printed collateral including but not limited to; in store signage, window banners, postcards, ads, proposals for presentations, invitations, logos, branded materials of collateral and other projects for internal and external use. Additional projects to include writing and proofreading copy, fact checking, and miscellaneous projects as needed.
Distributes and follows up on the approvals of comps and proofs sent to manager and sales team to meet deadlines.
Works directly with outside sales team to organize and manage the design and production of marketing collateral for outside sales events and proposals which includes printing and preparing collateral for shipment to events and stores. Keep thorough hard copy and digital records of the marketing requests, printed collateral and tracking numbers while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
Work with the fulfillment of internal and external marketing and assist in production and inventory of collateral materials with print vendors.
Manage print project orders submitted to vendors, proof processing and record status of job.
Assists the Marketing team in maintaining consistent design standards.
Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness

Education and Experience
BA Degree in graphic design or related field
6 months to a year of experience is preferred
Internship experience is a plus
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Demands
This job is primarily sedentary work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 90% of the time.
