At its core, the function is relied upon to provide independent assurance and remain objective while holding a respected position of process and control knowledge among key Beam Suntory leaders. In addition, members of the internal audit team possess the unique opportunity to rapidly learn the Beam Suntory business across a variety of functions and geographies presenting an opportunity to enter the business through internal audit and identify your next career growth opportunity after that.
Desired Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Undergraduate degree, with major in accounting, finance or business administration
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) a plus
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of audit experience - preferred experience includes risk advisory consulting at a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) or Fortune 500 internal audit
Industry experience: Global company consumer products industry experience with an emphasis in emerging markets a plus
Language skills: Proficiency in the Spanish or Japanese language a plus
Travel: About 30%, including international travel (i.e. Asia, Europe, South America, etc.)
