Regional Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of building maintenance for pharmacy locations in assigned region
Perform quarterly site visits to each pharmacy for routine inspections
Coordinate inspections and maintenance of key systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, service contracts, and insurance documentation
Supervise and verify completion of work performed by external vendors
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed
Support emergency response systems, including fire safety, generators, and alarm systems
Maintain janitorial services and ensure vendor compliance
Coordinate coffee, water, and pest control services for each pharmacy
Build, repair, and maintain furniture as needed
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for key systems
Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements
Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify risks or maintenance needs
Ensure all fire safety equipment and emergency lighting are inspected and functional
Track recurring issues and recommend cost-effective, long-term solutions
Maintain maintenance logs and track service request status in a shared system
Ensure pharmacy staff receive guidance on basic troubleshooting
Provide quarterly reports to leadership on inspections, completed projects, and outstanding needs
Track maintenance expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives
Review vendor invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
Research and recommend new vendors for improved service or pricing
Collaborate with pharmacy and regional leadership on ongoing initiatives and special projects
Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor or pharmacy leadership
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience in facility or building maintenance
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Ability to travel to multiple pharmacy locations across assigned region
Valid drivers license required
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable with light physical labor including lifting and basic repairs
Familiarity with using maintenance management systems a plus
Excellent communication and vendor management skills
Shift:
Full-time
Monday Friday with flexibility for after-hours or emergency needs
Quarterly regional travel required
