University of Pittsburgh
Radiofrequency (RF) Engineer (Finance)
The RF engineer must be able to determine specific RF coil safety design and performance requirements (based on SAR & RF values) for specific compliance. The RF engineer must be capable of performing impedance and phase matching for coil specific applications and simulations, electromagnetic design and analysis in the MRI system, circuit design, building research prototypes and troubleshooting, designing and testing baluns, cable traps for RF coils, developing assembly, test procedure and test record for research and clinical testing, phantom testing, quantifying the RF transparency of MR coils to the MR environment, coil B field homogeneity, experimentation on human and animal SAR testing on MR platforms, and coil files development for Research coils.
Previous University of Pittsburgh experience preferred.
