We're looking for Senior Legal Department Administrator. The Senior Legal Department Administrator will be responsible for the undertaking of a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The Legal Assistant will provide clerical support directly to our legal team as well as information management support on company legal matters.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage paralegal processes related to contract preparation support, provide support for lawyers and contracts specialists on a range of commercial matters, maintain department documents and responsible for document storage, retention and production.
Process internal and external requests for legal documentation (e.g., subpoenas, e-discovery, HR-related matters, contracts, etc.) and create new documentation related to ministerial internal matters (regulatory, legal requests, etc.).
Assist in creating and streamlining legal department process for managing workflow, tracking of engagements and improving efficiency - acting as a catalyst for productivity.
Coordinating case preparation and other matters related to commercial litigation, regulatory processes, etc., including discovery, management of case documents and providing assistance to outside counsel.
Assists in reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and documents; coordinates preparation of charts, graphs, and preparing expense reports.
Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel.
Maintains client and company confidentiality
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Additional duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Expereince:
Associates' degree and/or Bachelor's degree preferred; paralegal or equivalent certification preferred
2+ years paralegal or legal admin. Experience
Experience with document storage and retention processes preferred
Knowledge of Windows 7 or higher
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience in Salesforce preferred but not required
