Essential Functions • Trains supervisors/managers regarding appropriate full employees life cycle matters. • Assists supervisors on appropriate management actions, requires knowledge of employment law, standard policy & procedures and problem solving skills.
• Answers questions and assists with problem resolution for employees and managers. Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and develops solutions within the confines of policy and directives.
• Assists in administering compensation, which includes developing job descriptions, performing some job analysis, assisting with monitoring internal equity and market competitiveness and facilitates the performance evaluation program.
• Assist in investigations and makes recommendations to HR Management regarding options, outcomes and potential liability.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency.
• Responsible for tracking of candidates within the HR Division. Ensure work flow of documents are moving smoothly.
• Work with recruiter to ensure timely filling of open exempt requisitions. Serve as recruiter for all hourly requisitions. Complete on boarding process for new hires which includes completion of tax forms, I-9, acknowledgement of policies, benefits, and provide new hire orientation, etc.
• Handle all HR transactional responsibilities such as employee transactional changes, completion of PAF and submit to Payroll in a timely manner, manage HR files on shared drive to ensure up to date information and files, and filing of all records and upkeep for personnel files in a timely manner.
• Responsible for supporting annual HR processes such as the annual enrollment for benefits, merit increase and bonus cycles, etc.
• Schedule and conduct exit interviews
Education & Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent. 6 years working experience; 5 years HR experience. Strong knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player. HR Professional certifications preferred. Position Summary Administering and providing day to day primary HR activities. Under minimal supervision, acts as a consultant to management in developing, implementing and coordinating policies and programs covering several or all of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, and personnel research. Participates in policy development and participates in cross-divisional HR teams. Communicates HR related programs to managers and employees. Handles special projects, as assigned.
