Pratt and Whitney is a world leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. We design, manufacture and service aircraft engines, auxiliary and ground power units, and small turbojet propulsion products.
Our Human Resources department is recruiting a HR co-op position to begin February 1, 2020. This position is designed to be both educational and practical.
Position Details: Assist the Human Resources Manager with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, leadership development, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, and special HR projects. Prepare HR related reports. Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of assigned projects. Proofreading HR documents including policy, procedure, handbooks and audits. Be a point of contact for site employees and leadership. Assist in handling employee inquiries through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation when needed. You will learn how to take skills you have acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting.
