Senior Systems Analyst (Finance)
Responsible for advanced business processes and software system analysis using research and problem solving skills to define innovative software technology solutions in cooperation with stakeholders and project teams to meet business objectives.
Provide thought leadership in the development of software processes and systems and drive
functional/technical requirements and systems analysis for Financial, Regulatory and External Reporting systems for Finance teams, including interaction with upstream applications.
Partner with internal business leaders and teams to identify information and process requirements, gaps in existing capabilities, and define opportunities to build software systems based on current and future application platforms.
Responsible for serving as a liaison with business owners to lead and facilitate the elicitation and prioritization of business software requirements including interface design, user interface specifications and report design.
Translate complex business requirements to a functional software system design document under the guidelines of SVB's SDLC documentation framework.
Drive functional/technical requirements and systems analysis for the U.S. and International regulatory reporting systems.
Manage and perform the business software systems analysis work associated with change requests, projects, assessments and escalated issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efforts are synchronized.
Manage software assignments with a matrixed set of SME resources from business and IT strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation .
