Engineer-Experienced (Operations:National Network Support / Information Security Services) (Finance)
Job Summary
Assists in the development and implementation of security services/policies and procedures. Assists with a broad range of information security services Operations/disciplines such as account management, virus management, security configuration management, patch management, testing and problem resolution through trouble shooting. Develops conceptual, logical IT engineering designs, that support the infrastructure requirements of varying levels of technical and business application projects. Completes analysis of business requirements, as it relates to technical infrastructure design, and ensure traceability of the design to the business requirements. Assesses testing requirements and prepares testing strategies, as well as preparing implementation and transition plans.
Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and tracking security configurations, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring that processes meet industry standards and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to collaborate across multiple Information Security/Operations related work.
The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and leadership across various lines of business. Strong knowledge of information security risk and compliance will be crucial for this role. The level of work required is considered moderately complex and staff must be able to work under general supervision.
Experienced level position requires developing career in field and gaining knowledge of industry practices. Requires moderate level of experience and proficiency in field. This job does not have any direct reports.
