IT Manager, Service and Collaboration Platforms (Finance)



We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing management of our ServiceNow platform and our Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of developers and administrators, managing the platform roadmap, and ensuring that ServiceNow solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules, and excels in stakeholder engagement, platform governance, and delivery excellence. In addition, this role is responsible for the strategic management, administration, and support of the organization's Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for Business, and Copilot. This role ensures optimal performance, security, user adoption, and continuous improvement of digital workplace tools, enabling seamless collaboration and productivity across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integration capabilities, and module configurations.
  • Experience managing ServiceNow implementations and upgrades in an enterprise environment.
  • Solid grasp of ITIL framework and its application in ITSM/ITOM processes.
  • Solid understanding of Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Experience with governance, compliance, and security policies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to additional modules such as SecOps, GRC, or Customer Service Management.
Platform Strategy & Leadership
  • Own and manage the ServiceNow platform roadmap, including new module adoption and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes using ServiceNow.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business analysts.
  • Develop and implement strategies for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint adoption, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for digital collaboration tools and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment of platform capabilities with business needs, compliance requirements, and security policies.
Governance & Best Practices
  • Define and enforce ServiceNow platform standards, development guidelines, and governance processes.
  • Ensure platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements are implemented without business disruption.
  • Establish and track KPIs and metrics to evaluate platform performance and business value
  • Develop and enforce governance, usage, and support policies for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
  • Drive user adoption and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 tools through training, communication, and best practices.
Delivery & Operations
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, etc.).
  • Prioritize backlog items, manage sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of the platform.
Project Management
  • Lead and manage projects related to Microsoft 365 implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions that support collaboration and process automation.
Team & Vendor Management
  • Supervise junior admins or contractors supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Manage relationships with Microsoft and other vendors related to licensing, support, and product roadmap planning.
